Six Sentence Sunday...conflict week

The plea was plain in Cliff's voice. If Jimmy looked at him, he was afraid he'd fall again. He didn't want to fall, didn't want to land in the cold, hard reality that even Cliff didn't want him, couldn't handle him. Because he couldn't. Jimmy knew that now. What he needed, Cliff didn't have.

"Please, Jimmy, don't let's do this without even looking one another in the eye."

I couldn't even think of a picture to go with this. :(

So, while I figure out how to fix this mess, please head over to the Six Sentence blog and check out the other offerings.

Sometimes the words don't need a picture. The emotions on this one are raw. Love it.

I think...this scene I really did have a very set idea of time and space. It was a tough scene to write. I'm glad the essence came through.
